Middleburn RS7 Square Taper Tandem Bike Cranks are built specifically to handle the increased demands of tandem riding, offering strength, reliability, and precise fit. These Middleburn RS7 cranks are compatible with square taper type bottom brackets and are machined with a JIS taper, ensuring dependable compatibility with common square taper systems.

The RS7 tandem front crank is supplied plain on the right-hand side, with splines on the left-hand side for fitting a spider or direct-mount UNO chainring. This configuration can be altered on request to suit your preferred setup. The tandem rear cranks feature splines on both arms, making them ideal for tandem drivetrain arrangements.

The Middleburn RS7 tandem crankset is available in 170mm and 175mm lengths for the front crank, finished in black, with rear cranks available in 170mm. Limited stock may also be available in 160mm and 172.5mm lengths; please contact us for current availability.

First developed in 1991, Middleburn cranks have undergone continuous refinement. These tandem bike cranks benefit from advanced 3D and stress modelling to deliver exceptional stiffness, while keeping weight to a minimum. This ensures efficient power transfer from both riders, even under the higher loads typical of tandem cycling.

Each crank is hot forged from high-quality 7075 T6 aluminium, then CNC machined, hand-polished, anodised, and re-machined with the Middleburn logo. Every crank arm undergoes the same meticulous process, guaranteeing consistent quality across the entire square taper crankset.
