Middleburn RS7 X-Type Cranks are engineered for riders who need strength, stiffness, and extra clearance on modern mountain bikes. These Middleburn RS7 cranks come complete with the axle, axle nuts, and all necessary fittings, designed for use with external bottom brackets.

The RS7-X-175 crankset weighs approximately 547g including all fittings, with a Q-factor of around 190mm and a crank arm spacing of approximately 165mm when fitted with the standard axle. Available in lengths from 155mm to 175mm, and in sleek silver or black anodised finishes, these Middleburn RS7 X-Type cranks combine performance, versatility, and style.

All X-Type cranks are fitted with a 24mm axle compatible with any HollowTech2 style bottom bracket. The RS7 X-Type profile offers slightly kinked arms, providing extra clearance from rear chainstays, ideal for fat bikes and other modern MTB frames, while maintaining the respected strength and performance of the RS7 series.

The RS7 X-Type design benefits from advanced 3D stress modelling, producing one of the stiffest yet lightweight cranks on the market. These cranks are hot forged from high-quality 7075 T6 aluminium, fully CNC machined, hand-polished, anodised, and finished with the Middleburn logo to ensure consistent quality across every arm.

Compared to the RS8 X-Type, the RS7 X-Type has kinked arms for improved clearance and a slightly wider Q-factor, while both cranks use a 132mm V4 axle for compatibility.
