MIDDLEBURN RO1 TANDEM CRANKS

Middleburn RO1 Tandem Cranks are purpose-built for tandem cycling, offering strength, reliability, and precise fit where it matters most. These RO1 bike cranks are compatible with square taper type bottom brackets and are machined with a JIS taper, ensuring reliable compatibility with Shimano-style systems and other square taper setups.

The RO1 tandem front crank is supplied plain on the right-hand side, while the left-hand side features splines for fitting a spider or direct-mount UNO chainring. This configuration can be changed on request to suit your specific tandem setup. The rear tandem crank arms feature drive splines on both sides and are supplied with lock rings, as is the front drive side. Images are for illustration purposes only.

First developed in 1991, Middleburn cranks have undergone continuous refinement. This ensures efficient power transfer from both riders, even under the increased loads typical of tandem use.

Each crank is hot forged from high-quality 7075 T6 aluminium, CNC machined, hand-polished, anodised, and re-machined with the Middleburn logo. Every crank arm goes through the same meticulous process, guaranteeing consistent quality across the entire crankset.
