The new Middleburn GR8 X-Type Gravel Bike Cranks are designed for 68mm bottom bracket shells, and offer a fully modular setup ideal for modern gravel riding. By combining Middleburn’s proven RS8 X-Type crank arms with a shorter axle, adjustable bearing preload collar and axle spacers, we’ve created a versatile system that allows you to fine-tune chainline for a perfect 1x gravel drivetrain. Full setup instructions are included with every crankset.
These gravel bike cranks work seamlessly with a 110BCD spider and compatible chainrings such as Wolf Tooth, making them an excellent choice for riders looking for a durable, adaptable crank solution.
The approximate Q-factor is 165mm, with a 142mm arm gap. Weight is 514g excluding the spider.
Each set includes crank arms, 24mm axle, bearing preload collar, spider lockring and all required axle spacers. No spider or chainring is supplied, with the image showing the SP-RO2-110-X2 spider paired with a Wolf Tooth Flat Top/Drop Stop B 42T chainring for illustration purposes only.
Riders can also use the SP-RO2-94-X2 spider for 94BCD chainrings.
