Rear mech hangers are a small piece of metal that is attached to the frame of your bike, it is also known as a derailleur hanger or gear hanger. Derailleur hangers are designed to absorb any impact and strain that would be focused on the frame of the bike; it will bend or break off to protect the main body of the bike. We always strongly recommend carrying a spare mech hanger, because you never know when you’ll need a replacement derailleur, whether it be a few miles from home or on the other side of the country! Derailleur hanger 423 is CNC machined out of 6082 T6 aluminium, making it a premium upgrade and replacement from your standard mech hanger. All of BETD’s derailleur hangers come in a standard black anodised finish. This hanger dropout is suitable for Voodoo bikes.
