Derailleur Hanger 403-MTB

Derailleur Hanger 403-MTB is a precision-engineered part designed to protect your Boardman bike frame, while ensuring smooth and accurate gear changes. Also known as a Boardman mech hanger, gear hanger, or mech dropout, a derailleur hanger is a small piece of metal attached to the rear frame of your bike. Its main function is to absorb impact or strain, preventing damage to your frame in the event of a crash or derailleur misalignment.

Derailleur Hanger 403-MTB fits the following Boardman bike models:

• Boardman 650B Team FS Pro 2016–2017
• Boardman MTR 8.9 (2018–2021)
• Boardman MTR 9.0 (2018–2021)

Please note: This hanger is for Boardman MTB bikes only. Boardman road bikes require the 403-RD hanger, which is thinner to allow the rear mech to drop the chain onto the smallest gear on the cassette. If in doubt, contact us for advice.
