The Cycle Show 2017 at NEC Birmingham was a fantastic experience with new products being announced and showcased and plenty of special guest appearances.
From the 21st to the 24th September, the NEC was packed with cycling enthusiasts and plenty of stores and practice tracks and races including the Bosch EMTB Test Track and the Pirelli Supercrit track. There were exhibitors and products around every corner, resulting in a fun and bustling event.
Guests included former Belgian professional road and track bicycle rider Eddy Merckx and six time Olympic champion Jason Kenny, allowing enthusiasts to chat with cycling legends and gain insight from the pros. On the Wattbike stage there were plenty of discussions and talks, from ‘Britain’s top ten climbs and how to conquer them’ by Simon Warren and ‘Fuelling the Cycling Revolution’ with Nigel Mitchell.
On a personal note – We would like to thank everyone who came to see us at the show! It was great to catch up with customers and friends, and also get the opportunity to meet lots of new people who share our love for cycling. We used the show as opportunity to share the new Middleburn products, manufactured by BETD and the feedback was incredible – making all of our hard work and yes, sometimes tears, well worth it! We already have plans for 2018’s cycle show and so please come along and say hello again! We hope you had a great show.
